New children’s website page

January 2018

Two new pages have been added to this website. The most important is the new page for children, which we hope will help and encourage our youngest members to experiment confidently with the French language.

The new web page includes competitions for primary and secondary school age pupils.

We have also added a new page listing links to other useful and relevant websites. We hope this will evolve into an expanding resource.

Visiting party from Hennebont, 17–22 June

May 2018

We are all looking forward to this year’s visit of a party of 15 from Hennebont, one of whom will be representing their mayor. TAM and Mumbles Community Council have organised a great programme of activities for the visit including Welsh clog dancing and singing by the children of Llwynderw and St David’s schools, a guided tour of Clyne Gardens followed by a picnic, a choice of day trips to Ramsay Island or Big Pit and the South Wales Miners’ Museum, and a visit to Cardiff ending with a Welsh banquet in Cardiff Castle. As usual our visitors will be staying in the homes of various TAM members.

Tonia Antoniazzi MP ‘delighted’ to become Honorary Vice-President of TAM

May 2018

Tonia recently posted her pleasure at becoming an Honorary Vice-President of TAM on her ‘Tonia Antoniazzi MP for Gower’ Facebook page, with a very nice photograph of herself (below right) together with another of our three honorary vice-presidents, Robecca Evans AM (below left). The third of the trio, Derek Vaughan MEP, doesn’t seem to be the person in the middle!
