TAM is a voluntary organisation committed to encouraging links of all kinds – cultural, educational, sporting etc – with Mumbles twin town, Hennebont, a historic market town of some 15,000 people near the city of Lorient in Brittany, with which our village has been twinned since 2004.

Since September 2019, Mumbles has had a second twin town in Havre de Grace, a historic coastal town in Maryland, USA, which also has a population of about 15,000.

The TAM website: a final note

This website served the Twinning Association of Mumbles brilliantly from 2015 to the end of
2020.

We then decided to focus our online activity on our Facebook page, aligning us with our fellow twinning associations in Havre de Grace and Hennebont. Like them, we felt that our social media platform was a more interactive space for our members and followers.

So, we will not be adding any new content to this website.

However, in future years we mean to maintain this website for as long as possible as a fully functioning archive of 5½ extremely busy, successful years of twinning. (Well, 4½ busy years + 1 year of Covid lockdown!).

If you're a first-time visitor, feel free to browse away. You'll find tons to read and look at here. Then click on the Facebook image below to head over to our page.
